On the way are some decent potholes, which are to be treated with caution. Otherwise a cool shady place with lots of water, trees and some benches. Ideal for a short break.

Wonderfully cool even on hot days, the path leads directly along the Lochbach.
From the small bridge, either continue left into the city forest (Siebenbrunn) or keep left at/around Lake Mandichose. (coming from barrage 22)

The Lochbach - previously called Brunnenlech - is diverted from Lech dam 22, at the so-called Lochbachanstich.
There is a very beautiful, mostly shady hiking and cycling path that runs along the stream and is used by hundreds of cyclists and joggers on nice weekends. The path leads, among other things, past the old water rescue hut on the Lochbach (old tap). What many people don't realize is that they are driving past a beautifully landscaped alpine garden. It's worth taking a break here.

After the protection and guard hut had "obsolete" its life years ago and was "slumbering", the nature conservation officer of the Königsbrunner water rescue service, Frank Böttger, created a biotope that is well worth seeing in the area around the former water rescue station.

There are many alpine plants to be admired, most of which are found in the Lech meadows. But you can also see many reptiles and small creatures. The facility is almost an educational trail.
