Directly above the sports field (since 2020 artificial turf), the municipality of Istrup has created a small recreational area the length of the sports field. A barbecue hut and plenty of seating invite you to linger. The new planting will do the rest to create a really beautiful village community square.
We found it particularly great that over the entire summer of 2020, great flower strips were sown again and again with insect-friendly flowers around the site. Beautiful to look at!

Unfortunately, the last drive past showed that the rubbish of some incorrigible people was already spreading around the landscape at the seating, despite sufficient 🗑 rubbish bins. Fast food rubbish and empty vodka bottles 😡 ....... a shame!
