The information boards on the Royal Saxon triangulation (here with the historical proper name) from the years 1862 to 1890 are particularly interesting. In total, the triangulation network comprised 158 stations of the first and second order.
On the Aschberg there is a triangulation column of the 1st order (there are 29 in total) and is a listed building as a technical monument.
