The 25 meter high Bismarck tower on Rosenbühl, built in 1914, has an octagonal floor plan and a diameter of 7.2 meters. An imposing structure, but only open in the summer months. Twelve steps lead to the base plateau via the main entrance on the east side. From the entrance room one comes into the memory room in which the bust of Bismarck is placed. Several reinforced concrete stairs lead from the viewing platform to the second viewing platform. After another 25 steps, you reach the top viewing platform. frankenwald-tourismus.de/de/poi/detail/5836c4c8975a95ff166e235f

All well described by Rombea,
Unfortunately the tower is closed until further notice.
As a local resident told me, there is a dispute about the renovation and the financing.
A support association has collected donations, but is not enough!
There is a dispute between the state and the city of Hof as to whether it should be renovated at all!
The memory of the first German Chancellor should have been preserved.
For example, Prince Otto von Bismarck introduced pension insurance and other social benefits!
