Beautiful climb over the Bad Kissinger hut with small climbing passages below the summit. Lyre very crowded on nice days. The view, however, compensates for everything ....

Although the Aggenstein at 1985 meters is not one of the highest mountains in the Tannheimer Valley, it impresses with its magnificent panoramic view and can take it loose in this regard with its higher neighboring peaks.
However, in the summer, whole caravans often take hikers up to the summit, and it is not uncommon to line up to secure a place on the summit. It is better to plan an ascent outside of the season, ie in spring or late in the fall, when the Bad Kissinger Hütte has closed and an approach from the mountain station of the Breitenbergbahn is not possible because of the snow in the northern flank of the Aggenstein.

Those who still have the strength and sure-footed, as free from giddiness, should climb the summit. There are some climbing passages secured with steel cable. Unfortunately, this is loose in two places. Who has made it, will be rewarded with a spectacular view.

Beautiful summit which can be reached via a short Kraxelpassage with rope fences. On sunny days and especially on the weekends, there was a lot of overcrowding.

In good weather, the ascent and descent is very crowded, but the 360 ° view compensates for a lot.
