THE PROJECT IN THE VIADUCT
In the summer of 2004, the project by EM2N Architects and Zulauf Seippel Schweingruber Landschaftsarchitekten was chosen as the winner of the architecture competition for the new use of the viaduct arches and the design of the Letten Viaduct path. In autumn 2004 it became known that the PWG Foundation would take over the expansion of the viaduct arches in the role of client. In contrast to other interested parties, the PWG did not want to create a chic shopping arcade or exit mile in the future installations, but rather fill the viaduct with district-compatible and regionally rooted uses, so that IM VIADUKT becomes a meeting place for the quarter and beyond.
