Incredibly, this passage is little known, but beautiful. From both sides you can admire wonderful views. Although the climb is long, the pass does not have a prohibitive slope. There are some short tunnels on both sides.

The climb can be undertaken from Massa, tough at the beginning but after the Passo del Dress almost all downhill, but also from Seravezza, a softer and shady climb, but after the Cipollaio there the climb becomes more difficult up to the Passo del Dress. From then on it's just pleasure.
Bring some lights for the galleries. If you go up from Seravezza and go down towards San Carlo, a stop at the grocery store is obligatory after the Fonte San Carlo in Piazza Madonnina.
