The port is located in the former fishing village of Wieck on the Ryck River. In addition to pleasure boats, there are also boats for fishing. Large maritime events take place here every year.

Mountain biking

The port of the Wieck district (former fishing village) is located at the mouth of the Ryck in the Danish Wieck. The two most striking sights are the bascule bridge and the sailing training ship Greif (formerly Wilhelm Pieck) on the Eldena side. For those interested in technology, the flood protection barrier, which was inaugurated in 2016, is certainly of interest. Otherwise a nice place for a tour break and good food.
