Hiking
The Hundinghütte, which King Ludwig II had built in 1876, once stood here. It was based on a description from Richard Wagner's opera Walküre and was built around a mighty tree trunk in the middle. Today you can easily walk past this place without even realizing it, because the hut burned down in 1945 and there is nothing to indicate that it once stood here. And yet you can still visit it today: there is a reconstruction in the park of Linderhof Palace.
