Tips
The observation tower "Frankenwarte" rises on the almost 680 meter high deer hill. It is located at Hirschberglein between the towns of Bad Steben and Geroldsgrün. The round stone tower is over eight meters high, and several viewing hatches offer a wonderful view of the entire area. With good visibility you can see as far as the Fichtel Mountains.

The observation tower was equipped with very nice information boards, they show how the tower was built and explain things worth knowing about the surrounding area. In the upper area, display boards with the localities and prominent landmarks in the respective viewing direction were attached.
