A small town where tranquility reigns. Walking through its streets and alleys is like browsing a large open book on history.

This elegant neoclassical building is located in the center of the village. Under the carved triangular gable, which bears the year 1747, an imposing round-arched door marks the main entrance. In front of two profiled steps, the double-leaf door presents a crescent-shaped skylight and small panes arranged in a radial pattern. The building and some of the interior decorations have been listed as historical monuments since 1981.

At the heart of the traditional rural core of the village of Olne, the buildings are closely packed, house to house. The layout of the village and its tight appearance are due to its location on a ridge overlooking the rocks of Falize to the north. On a gentler slope to the south, grouped around the church, about a hundred buildings built mainly in limestone ashlars are arranged in the shape of a triangle diverging along two main axes. The rue du Village, which corresponds to one of the two axes, is interrupted by a square on which the town hall is located. At the top of the hill, are the cemetery and the church, surrounded by a wall of limestone ashlars.
Towards Rafhay and along the church are the stately residences of wealthy merchants and modest houses of artisans. Sidewalks and some sections of the street retain their paving stones. They help to preserve the charm of Olne.
The public space, as represented by the square on which the town hall is located, plays a central role in the structure of the village. The narrow streets and well-maintained sidewalks add to the charm of Olne, skilfully mixing an urban atmosphere with rural elements.
The elevation of the cemetery and the church on a hill offers a picturesque view from some points of the village.
