Hiking
In September 2005, RWE completed the laying of the Inde in the area of the Inden opencast mine. Since then, the river has been flowing north of Inden-Lamersdorf in a wide, twelve-kilometer arc through the recultivation around the opencast mine and flows back into its old bed south of Jülich-Kirchberg.
