Wilgartswiesen is considered the oldest community in the Queichtal. The village was mentioned in documents as early as 828. The oldest of all communities in the Queichtal. The town's landmark is the sandstone church - the only one in this region with two towers. Wilgartswiesen has been a recognized resort since 1974 and is one of the most wooded communities in the Palatinate Forest. A paradise for hikers and nature lovers.
