La Condition Publique is a former industrial site located in Roubaix, France. It was founded in 1902 and originally served as a place to measure the moisture of wool and cotton to determine quality and prices. The complex consists of several buildings covering approximately 12,000 m² and was designed by architect Alfred Bouvy. The building has been renovated and converted into a cultural center and a place for artistic experimentation. It offers a wide range of activities including exhibitions, concerts, workshops, conferences and more. It is also a popular stopping point for cyclists and walkers following the RAVeL Ligne 83, which was once a railway line connecting Avelgem with Ronse and has now been partially converted into a greenway.

Very nice building, and you can go and get a drink inside. Depending on the timing, the roof may be accessible.
