Viewpoint between Moosbach and the Heumaden junction. Insane panoramic view. At the moment the corn is bothering a bit

The sun dance is located in the Kurpark Moosbach. The highlight I actually wanted.

Four three-meter-high sculptures are the new eye-catcher in the Moosbach Kurpark. The artistic design is carried out by a sculptor from Upper Palatinate.

The conversion of the spa park "Gruberbach" into a generation park is progressing rapidly. Unfortunately, the reconstruction of the farm building that burned down in December 2019 could not yet be started because the building permit from the Neustadt / WN district office is still pending. On the other hand, the many visitors are already enjoying the artistic design of the park during the construction phase. Christian Hiller from Fensterbach / Dürnsricht has completed his work. In the eastern part of the complex he set up four sculptures (steles) about three meters high made of robinia trunks around the sundial from 1984. The sundial is designed in such a way that the observer himself serves as a clock hand with his or her body.

The artist sees each of the four sculptures in a different position. They are intended to encourage park visitors to exercise, relax and exercise. The sunrise in the east and the sunset in the west are represented by the outermost sculptures. The arrangement around the sundial is intended to emphasize it optically and to invite it to be used as a clock hand. Hiller himself describes the four sculptures as "sun dance". The 46-year-old artist attended the wood sculpting school in Berchtesgaden from 1999 to 2002. He prefers wood, bronze and concrete as materials for his work. From this he develops sculptures, sculptures, objects and furniture design. Its clients are private individuals, churches and municipalities.
