The church of St. Vinzenz is the landmark of Heiligenblut.In 1273 the first pilgrimage to the "Holy Bluet" is recorded. In 1390 a decision was made to build a large, "tidy" church, as the old church could not contain the many pilgrims and pilgrims. After around 100 years of construction, the pilgrimage church was consecrated on November 1st, 1491.
