Hiking
The lighthouse itself is nice, but unfortunately hidden behind rather ugly fences with a matching fence next to it. It operates, but only for shirt periods and gives the feeling that somehow the lamp (or controller) is broken. The view towards Haifa from there is great though.

The modern lighthouse is located on the southwest corner of Akko at the foot of the Ottoman tower "Burj El Sanjak". From there you have a wonderful view of the city wall and St. John's Church.
