Since 2010, visitors arriving at Sandkruger station have been greeted by a group of bronze sculptures called Osenzwerge. This is an artistic realization of the regional legend about a dwarf people living in the Osenbergen by the local artist Johannes Cernota. The legend comes from the 165th saga in the German saga book by Ludwig Bechstein.
