Once, until the end of the First World War, Naßfeld was a “wet field” now it is: Pramollo. In both languages the toponym refers to the existence of a peat bog (wetland) on which the lake we see today was built. A small stretch of water, at 1500 m above sea level, surrounded by pastures, woods, daring peaks and the 110 km of slopes that have made Passo Pramollo / Naßfeld one of the most famous ski resorts in Europe. The lake, located in the immediate vicinity of the border with Austria, is only 13 km from the center of Pontebba,
