Within the fortress grounds of Grauerort, visitors can enjoy a regularly operating narrow-gauge railway (600 mm track). Dedicated railway enthusiasts welcome visitors to take a seat in converted ammunition wagons. The scenic route runs for one kilometer from the engine shed to the former landing stage on the Elbe River and back.

"Groveblitz" rides on Sundays and public holidays: 11:30 a.m. / 1:00 p.m. / 2:30 p.m. (Additional times available upon request)
