Great station on the nature trail at the Great Stake. The well-made display boards explain the formation, the mining, the loading and the effort with which the quartz rock was broken out of the earth and loaded. On the educational trail you can see the loading station, an old material ropeway, an old blacksmith's shop with a tipping lorry, as well as the former braking station.

There is a parking lot in the immediate vicinity, free of charge. There are also 2 hiking trails with different routes around the big pole. Display boards explain the plants and animals in the area. A great hiking opportunity for young and old.
