🏰Rheineck Castle🏰
On a hill near Bad Breisig🧭 rests a defiant 11th-century fortress. The Counts Palatine, who initially ruled from the 187-meter-high hill, had a perfect view of the Rhine and its banks🛡.
The well-preserved Rheineck Castle is still inhabited today,
but not open to the public⚔️.
