Cycling
The Johannestal is a side valley of the Rißtal in the Karwendel. It runs roughly from south to north between the Falkengruppe in the east and the eastern foothills of the Northern Karwendel Range in the west.
The Johannesbach flows through the valley before it flows into the Rißbach at the gorge-like lower end of the valley. At the end of the valley is the Kleine Ahornboden. @Wikipedia
