According to an inscription, the hall church was built between 1715 and 1719 instead of a medieval church. It has a retracted choir, followed by the church tower in the east, which has been preserved from the previous building. The nave is covered with a slate mansard roof, the square tower, also slated, has an eight-sided pointed helmet. The long sides of the nave are divided by plaster pilasters between which the windows are located.
The church furnishings are from the time it was built. The two-storey galleries are on three sides. The ceiling in the nave consists of a wooden half-barrel with stucco mirrors above the gallery. The frames of the mansard windows are also made of stucco. The vertical walls of the choir are designed in the same way, whereby it is spatially brought together with the nave despite the fact that it is retracted. The pulpit altar is from 1720-1722. It has a projecting, architecturally structured central axis and small-format carved figures. Next to the pulpit there are wall niches in which the sculptures of Jesus Christ and John the Baptist stand. A crucifixion group is on the extract. There are several putti and small paintings on the pulpit. The choir is separated from the nave by a small carved parapet, in front of which there is an eight-sided baptismal font from the 18th century. In the church there is a memorial plaque for the participants in the wars of liberation. The organ with 21 registers, divided into 2 manuals and pedal, was built by Adalbert Förtsch in 1861 and restored by Rösel & Hercher Orgelbau in 1994. The last repair was in 1985.
