The Villa Jacobs stands on a plateau above the Jungfernsee and was built in 1842 by Ludwig Persius. It was the first Italian tower villa in Potsdam and was built for the sugar manufacturer Ludwig Jacobs. Due to the later location in the border area of the GDR, the building fell apart and was demolished in 1981. Between 2005 and 2008 the villa was rebuilt. The surrounding landscape park was planned by Peter Joseph Lenné and realized by Hermann Sello. There is a vineyard and an orchard in the park. The listed villa is privately owned; Wine festivals take place regularly at which the park can be visited.

The villa has a very nice park overlooking the Jungfernsee and there are often good readings.
