The Alp Eidenen at (1408 m) is an independent corporation. The local community of Sennwald owns shares and provides the president of the board of directors. In recent years, the alpine hut and the pigsty were painstakingly rebuilt.

Hiking
The Alp Eidenen is very exposed on the south side of the Alpstein, high above the Rhine Valley.
Hikers can reach the Alpstein on wonderful paths. Those who like it easy can use the new Staubernbahn. The Sagenweg and the Trübliweg invite you to take a leisurely hike and stop for a bite to eat. On the Wisaspiz you can barbecue with a magnificent view.
