Very interesting fossils, highly recommended with children. You learn a lot about the early history of the earth and the animal world.

In the museum you can marvel at fossils, among other things, which give you an idea of what the underwater world in the prehistoric Jurassic Sea must have looked like 180,000,000 years ago. The sea was where the Swabian Alb lies today.
The museum is open every day, except Mondays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission costs 7.50 euros for adults, 4.50 euros for schoolchildren and students and 2.50 euros for children between the ages of three and six.

I spent countless hours here as a teenager. Impressive exhibition. My recommendation for families: first visit the museum and then gain practical experience in one of the nearby slate quarries (between Ohmden and Zell).
