When the weather is nice, the view from the Eichberg Tower all around is simply gigantic - especially to the Kaiserstuhl and the Vosges.

The Eichberg Tower is a lookout tower at 368.6 m above sea level. NHN [1] high Eichberg near Emmendingen. The viewing pulpit was made of oak and sits on six Douglas fir trunks, which together with an upper platform frame form a truncated pyramid. The staircase is a filigree cylinder made of section steel and mild steel mesh, the spiral staircase has 240 oak steps.
With a height of 53.20 meters, it is the highest observation tower in Baden-Württemberg. With its pulpit at a height of 43.20 m, the tower dominates the oak forest by about 10 meters. From the tower pulpit there is a panoramic view of the surrounding area, the entire Black Forest ridge to the Isteiner Klotz, the Swiss Jura, the Vogesenkette and the Kaiserstuhl.
The tower was built by an association founded in 1999 and handed over to the city of Emmendingen on September 17, 2005 and opened to the public. It officially bears the title Jubiläumsturm Baden-Württemberg.
