Since 1996 there has been a small attraction on the Pappelberg in Güterberg, a covered viewing platform - the Kaiser Maneuver Terrace. It offers an unforgettable view over the wide and varied Uckermark, Mecklenburg and Western Pomeranian landscape.

The historical background is the memory of the largest of the so-called imperial maneuvers from September 11th to 13th, 1911 in the Uckermark and Mecklenburg, which the emperor personally led. The arbitral tribunal could follow the movements of the troops from the Poplar Hill. A legend says that in the battles for the Pappelberg the decision to maneuver was made by order.
