The most important of all the churches in Frómista. It is a Romanesque church from the 11th century, ordered to be built by Doña Mayor de Castilla in the year 1066. Over time, some chapels, sacristies, bell tower, etc ... are added to the temple, which all they do is deteriorate the structure of the Romanesque church. When it was restored in 1904, all these additions were removed and the original 11th century structure was left.
