Cycling
The last private owner of the castle was at the beginning of the 20th century. the Swiss Consul Gérold Déteindre. His descendants kept the facility and part of the property until 1945. After that, the building was used by the Žatec Hop Research Institute. The palace and palace gardens are now managed by the National Monuments Institute and can be visited by appointment.
