The Romanesque stone church was built around 1200. It is a complete complex. The half-timbered roof turret with a tent roof attached to the gable, which has a massive west wall, is from the time of the restoration in 1674 and 1684. Destroyed by lightning in 1928, it was renewed like the original. The entrance to the church is a round arch portal on the north side. The outline of the priest's gate is visible on the north side of the choir. On the north and south sides of the nave and choir, some Romanesque window openings have been preserved. The semicircular apse was probably collapsed, from halfway up it becomes smaller in diameter; To be on the safe side, the masonry was given support pillars.

The interior has a flat ceiling. The pulpit stands on a natural trunk with handcrafted carving. The upper part of this pulpit column depicts a woman's head, below is foliage and a braid of fruit. The pulpit is from the 18th century, the column possibly from the 17th century. On the altar table, the year 1846 is pressed into the plaster with fingers (in the case of a restoration or a new product). The baptismal font (14th century) has the eight-sided goblet shape of the Gothic. The bell dates from the 13th century.
