    Meisenheim station was opened in 1896 and was located on the entire length of the Glantalbahn Homburg – Bad Münster, which opened in 1904. Parts of the station complex and the architecturally appealing reception building are under monument protection. Most cyclists take a break in the picturesque town on the Glan. The train station is also a trolley station.
