Whenever I cycle along the B2 on the cycle path from Bayreuth or Pegnitz, I get annoyed every time. From the north and south to the short section before Creußen a good, fast cycle path and then you have simply forgotten the short section directly on the main road. When the traffic permits, I'm mostly on the road and not on the cycle path described.
Incidentally, I really enjoy driving mountains, but not unnecessary ones.
