Road cycling

The Martinskirche in Greding is the oldest and most important building in the city. It is the largest Romanesque building in the former Eichstätt monastery (11th century) and stands in the north-west on a hill at the foot of the Kalvarienberg.

St. Martin's Church, Greding's landmark, is the largest Romanesque basilica in the diocese of Eichstätt and is the city's most important building in terms of art history. The oldest parts of the building, the five lower tower floors, date from the late 11th century. The current basilica was built in the middle of the 12th century and consecrated by the Eichstätt bishop Otto (1182 - 1196).
