A few kilometers from Hveragerði lies Reykjadalur, the "valley of steam." Here, the ground breathes: fumaroles, hot streams, and green mountains create a surreal landscape. After a hike through sulfur clouds, a unique bath awaits you: a thermal river where the water boils up the mountain and cools as it mixes with the stream.
