The side aisle was built in the middle of the 16th century during the Reformation.
The church was built in Gothic style and underwent a thorough restoration in 2001.
On this occasion, the church was equipped with one of the best organs in Northern Europe.
The carillon with its 48 bronze bells is also among the absolute best of its kind.
The church is open Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 4 PM.

Cycling
The oldest masonry of the original church dates back to when the city itself was founded. It is not known what the church looked like at the time, but due to its central location in the city center, the church was obviously of great importance.
In 1649 the church was destroyed by a fire in the church. What you see now is a vaulted church interior that was built in the 1650s.
