It lies between its elevations Steinberg (327.5 m) in the east-southeast and Stuckenberg (230 m) in the west-northwest. Its summit is 2.2 km south of Söhre and 2.1 km southwest of Röderhof, two districts in the municipality of Diekholzen, 4 km northwest of the main town of Bad Salzdetfurth, 3.4 km north-northeast of Petze, a district of Sibbesse, and 3 km east-southeast of the main town of Diekholzen.
