An exciting path leads from the top down stairs and then through the tunnel to Étretat beach. An aluminum ladder leads from the tunnel to the pebble beach. Remains of an older iron ladder can be seen. The route from above to the tunnel alone is recommended. You can also get all the way down using the stairs without using the tunnel. Then stop on the side of the ledge facing away from the city.
This is a rare opportunity to see the cliffs from above and below. The 350 steps are worth it!

At Porte d'Amont, go down the steps and through a small cave passage to the beach.

We went the other way - to the end of the beach and saw how a couple swarmed over an iron ladder in the rock - afterwards - through a low tunnel and you were back in another world. Great view from there! From there you could go down to the beach or climb the rock.
