The three-story half-timbered house was built at the turn of the 20th century.[1] The architect was Émile Mauge. The construction was carried out by the construction company Touzet de Fécamp. In terms of design, the house is based on medieval half-timbered architecture. Mauge used parts of a 15th-century house from Lisieux to build the Manoir de la Salamandre.
