Westbake Baltrum

This approx. 9 m high beacon is located at the west end of the beach promenade, the counterpart in the east village. The unlighted beacons are fixed navigational aids that are used for the spatial orientation of ships. They usually have a distinctive shape and a corresponding top mark on the tip.

From here you have a fantastic view of Norderney and there are also information boards for the tidal path for coastal protection on Baltrum.

Approximately nine meter high, three-legged beacon with a diamond top symbol.
This is located at the western head of Baltrum on the Cuckoo Dune and is also used as a transmission mast by a mobile phone provider.
