Schau ins Land Viewpoint

The "Schau ins Land" rest area near Wenings in eastern Hesse is a beautiful and lovingly restored viewpoint on the Iron Trail, created in 2019. It was built by a group of local volunteers and offers visitors inviting seating and lounging areas for a break, as well as artistic steles marking special views. From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Wenings and the surrounding countryside. The area, accessible year-round, is located directly on the Iron Trail and close to the Gedern-Wenings cycle path. It's an ideal place for hikers and cyclists to take a break and enjoy nature.
