Sacrificial stones are also called bowl stones or grooved stones. They mostly come from the 19th or early 20th century and were used by the Germans for the sacrificial cult. The blood groove can be seen very well on one of the Zichtau sacrificial stones.

The district chief Johann Christian Solbrig had the completely deforested Hellberge afforested again from 1817.
Around 1820 he laid out the landscape park at the Zichtau manor house and included the surrounding area in his landscaping.
The 6.1 km long round tour is a testament to this.
Start is in front of the Gut Zichtau entrance in the Gardelegen district of Zichtau and leads to interesting stations such as the water treading area, Großer Stakenberg, Ochsenschlucht, sacrificial stones, Ferchel oak and former Tempelberg (small hill in the forest, brick remains as evidence of the former Solbrig building) .(Source: gardelegen.de)
