The Tram Museum Zurich is a bit hidden next to a Migros at the Burgwies tram stop.
Here you can find original vehicles from the years 1897 to 1968, engines, uniforms, ticket machines and a large model tram system, and all of this with new exhibits, changed car arrangements, current topics and changing exhibitions. The museum shop also carries a wide range of specialist literature, postcards, models and souvenirs. The most beautiful tram line in Zurich
The vehicles in the Tram Museum are historic, but they are far from being discarded. Part of the museum fleet - the oldest vehicle built in 1897 - runs on museum line 21. This was specially set up on the network of the Zurich transport company (VBZ) and connects Burgwies with the city center.Museum line 21 now runs all year round on the last weekend of the month (except December).
