the place has history The half-timbered building of the watermill was built in 1730 at the time of King George II of Hanover and England and thus the watermill was also a royal mill, as confirmed by an engraving next to the year on the wall. The half-timbered barn of the ensemble most likely dates from the same time. At the end of the 19th century, the residential wing of the mill building was expanded and a stucco-adorned brick house was attached to the half-timbered mill building. The youngest building of the watermill ensemble, the brick barn, was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Using old postcards, the year of construction can be narrowed down to approximately 1910. The brick barn replaced a small half-timbered barn that was a little more slanted to the house.more information on the net
