The history of the village of Sülze is closely linked to salt production, which continued for several centuries. The small one-room saltworks museum, opened in 2012, illustrates Sülze's salt mining history through an exhibition. Salt production can be reconstructed in the open-air area using saltworks models. The saltworks museum can be visited by prior appointment. The models in the open-air area are accessible at any time. Guided tours for groups can also be arranged (Tel.: +49 (0)5054 / 1055, 94026 or -289). Public restrooms are available.
