Hiking

The Rheiderland Local History Museum is located in the former poor house from 1791. The building was built in the Dutch architectural style. In its function as a museum, it has been showing the development of the Rheiderland region from the Stone Age to the present since the early 20th century. One focus is on the history of the approx. 30 brickworks that were formerly located here. An altar fragment from before the Reformation is also shown.
Opening times: Tuesday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weener.de/freizeit/heimatmuseum
