The Kristallhütte is a beautiful, if not entirely cheap, hut on the way from the Kaltenbacher Skihütte to the Wimbachkopf. The hut can also be reached by car via the Zillertaler Höhenstraße. It is open from Thursday to Sunday in summer. I was there on Monday, bad luck.
