In 1966, the Kuchenbäcker family bought the dilapidated castle complex, opened it to the public with a theme park and thus generated funds for the restoration. In addition to many classic children's play equipment such as climbing frames, swings and slides, the park also includes larger attractions, among others. a family roller coaster, a water wave slide, a Ferris wheel and various carousels.
