I gave myself this tour for the holiday. I had already made it in a similar form with @Kernholz on Good Friday 2021. This time I deviated from the previous route in a few places, e.g. with the result that I had to cross a creek because of a closed bridge. But what hikers can do... It stayed dry from…

Today we sail with 7 other guests on a yacht from Cannigione along the archipelago to the island of Budelli and back. On the way we see Caprera and Maddalena, which I already know from the bike tour, and many other small islands. In between we swim, have lunch and go ashore on an (almost) lonely beach…

Today there was a walking tour up and around the hills of Cannigione, one of the beautiful little towns along the Costa Smeralda. This lives up to its name with its turquoise blue water. Today we drove to the other side of the island near Alghero for a hike around what is said to be the only freshwater lake on the island. We stop at a nice little snack bar. There we stock up on water and fruit and start the tour. It starts on soft forest trails but goes up and down quite a bit. Not much…

Today I did the circuit along the Costa Smeralda again after 2021. It begins with coastal trails, some of which I could only get through by pushing the MTB upright. Then past the beautiful and rich. For a seat at the bar you have to be at least a millionaire. Then it goes up and down through the interior…

Nice little last tour of the year. Known routes of my home zone. The falling twilight invited to a break with coffee and local lard. Was a good cycling year with over 5,200 km.
Happy New Year to all of you and a healthy new year with a sporty season 😉
